SILENT AUCTION ADVENTURE
MAGICAL GETAWAY IN THE RAINFOREST OF COSTA RICA AT FINCA LUNA NUEVA LODGE
Bid for a magical getaway in the rainforests of Costa Rica at the Finca Luna Nueva Lodge! Dedicated to preserving the precious rainforest and maintaining a sacred bond with the land, Finca Luna Nueva is a rustic yet luxurious eco-lodge located outside of La Fortuna, Central Highlands. This certified organic biodynamic farm is alive with energy and a living manifestation of sustainable practices, as well as a sanctuary that harbors a dynamic collection of roughly 300 medicinal plants.
For those interested in the organic and sustainability movement, this is an excellent opportunity to interact with a living farm, meet like-minded people and explore the Arenal Volcano region. For outdoor enthusiasts, La Fortuna is the adventure capital of Costa Rica! This item includes a stay of up to four nights for two people who will share a private bungalow.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner – featuring delicious meals that include offerings from the farm itself and local producers, depending on the season – are included. The stay will include a guided tour of the farm, through which guests will experience a working organic biodynamic farm. Guests will also be taken on a “chocolate tour”, through which they’ll see and experience every step in the creation of chocolate, from the ancient Mayan process to modern European techniques. The tour will also allow guests to make their own “Drink of the Gods” – an ancient Mayan drink made from the cacao fruit – and make their own chocolate confections.
Airfare is not included in this package, and guests will need to make their own flight arrangements. Transportation costs are also not included, although the lodge can arrange a shuttle to and from the San Jose airport upon request.
Please bid generously on this amazing experience! The lodge will work with the winning bidder to schedule a visit, which is subject to availability. Guests are encouraged to book reservations well in advance, especially during the high season that runs from the end of December through mid-May.
